1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

  • Orders placed before [cut-off time, e.g. 12:00 PM] are usually processed the same day.

  • Orders placed after the cut-off time will be processed the next business day.

 


 

2. Shipping Areas

We currently deliver to:

  • Deliveries are currently unavailable. All orders are to be collect

Unfortunately, we do not offer international shipping at this time.

 


 

3. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • Local delivery: 1–7 business days

  • Main centres: 2–7 business days

  • Outlying / rural areas: 3–7 business days

Please note: delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, weather, or factors beyond our control.

 


 

4. Shipping Fees

  • Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

  • Promotions or free shipping offers (if applicable) will be clearly communicated.

 


 

5. Perishable Goods Notice

Biltong is a perishable product. We take care to package orders to maintain freshness during transit.

Customers are advised to:

  • Ensure someone is available to receive the order

  • Refrigerate or store products appropriately upon delivery

We are not responsible for spoilage caused by delays due to:

  • Incorrect delivery details

  • Failed delivery attempts

  • Customer unavailability

 


 

6. Courier Partners

We use trusted third-party courier services to deliver your order safely and efficiently.

Once your order has been dispatched:

  • You may receive a tracking number (where available)

  • Responsibility for the order transfers to the customer upon delivery

 


 

7. Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery

If an incorrect delivery address is provided:

  • Additional delivery fees may apply

  • We cannot guarantee product freshness if a delivery is delayed or returned

Please double-check your delivery details before completing your order.

 


 

8. Damaged or Missing Orders

If your order arrives damaged, spoiled, or incomplete:

  1. Take clear photos of the issue

  2. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery at 📧: shop@biltongtime.co.za


We will assess the issue and arrange a refund or replacement where applicable.

 


 

9. Public Holidays & Peak Periods

Delivery times may be longer during:

  • Public holidays

  • Festive seasons

  • Promotional periods
